169A ILLI MONO
Demijet equipped with a long external visor that extends up to cover the chin, with predisposition for PINLOCK lens. It is equipped with hidden extra-smoked inner visor adjusted through the rotation of the left plate of the helmet. It is also equipped with an AIR STREAM SYSTEM aeration system made by resealable front air vents, inner shell’s air ducts and rear extractors. The inner linings, which are pierced, removable and washable, are also made with a hexagonal thermoformed top, studied for a more comfortable fitting, and with an EXTRACOOL fabric, extremely soft on contact with the skin. Finally, they’re also enriched by rear reflective bands or high visibility yellow fluo bands to improve passive safety.

ECE-R 22.06 HOMOLOGATION
This is a helmet designed, developed and certified according to what is established by the current European Legislation ECE/UN 22.06 for motorcycle helmets. Hence, the utilization is allowed only in the Countries where the Legislation is in force. In order to obtain the homologation’s certification, a helmet is submitted to shock absorption tests to measure the capacity of the helmet of dissipating the strength of eventual impacts, it’s also submitted to rigidity tests to determine the deformation of a helmet subjected to compression, loosening tests to verify the conservation of the helmet’s position on the head when it’s subjected to a push, strap’s retention tests to test the tightness of the retention system when it’s subjected to a traction. The 06’s amendment includes additional tests and requests for the helmet and its components. In fact, the homologation tests must actually identify 12 points of impact, the helmets must be able to absorb damages even at a minor intensity. Furthermore, the new standards include more stringent tests on rotational acceleration and on retention’s systems. Finally, extra tests for P/J homologation, visors, sun screens and accessories have been introduced.
Extra long visor
The external visor of the 169 ILLI, with a contemporary aerodynamic design, extends up to cover the chin offering a full-coverage and an enlarged field of view. The visor has predisposition for the insertion of the Pinlock Lens 70 against the fogging of the visor that may occur because of breathing and because of the difference of temperature inside and outside the helmet. The Pinlock lens are available in different colors for the different kind of weather condition.
Clear Lens (DKS002CGMCL): offers a bright vision and without fogging in normal weather condition.
25% Smoked Lens (DK2002CGMLS): offers a comforting field of view in partly cloudy weather condition.
75% Smoked Lens (DK2002CGMDS): Provides with an excellent protection against the most shiny Sun’s condition.
Yellow Lens (DKS002CGYL): Provides with a major contrast during rainy and wet weather’s conditions.
Photochromic Lens (DK2002CGMPT): is dyed with the effects of the UV lights. When the UV lights become stronger, the lens turns darker.
AIR STREAM SYSTEM
The ventilation system AIR STREAM SYSTEM is made by resealable front air vents, air ducts inside the inner shell and rear extractor. The fresh air comes in from the front air vent of the helmet and, by coming through the apposite channeling, goes right to the pilot. The air circulation is generated by the exploitation of the movement that creates a negative pressure and push the inner hot air towards the rear part of the helmet, here the hot air comes out from the rear vents. In this way the pilot benefits from a constant air recycle that always guarantees a comfortable temperature.
Hidden sun inner visor
The darken hidden inner visor acts as a sunscreen handy and easy to use.
. It is enough to lift it down to use it or to lift it up to exclude it from the visual field and go back to a traditional visual. In order to enable the Hidden sun inner visor is sufficient to rotate with the palm of the hand or with the fingers the visor fixing system placed on the left side of the shell.
EXTRACOOL INNER LINING | HIGH VISIBILITY INNER LINING
The EXTRACOOL linings are realized with a new fabric with an innovative design, it is breathable and antibacterial and extremely soft on skin.
The high visibility inner linings are made with inserts or bands in reflective material or in fluo colours to make the helmet more visible, increasing passive safety.
