Our motorcycles helmets are designed, developed and homologated according to the current European Regulation 22, 06 series of amendments, for motorcycles helmets. In January 2021, the Regulation 22 has been updated with the new Sixth Amendment, that includes adding tests and requirements for the helmet and its components. The approval tests must, in fact, identify 12 points of impact and the helmets must be capable of absorbing even less intense hit. Furthermore, the new standards include stricter verifications for the rotational acceleration tests and for the retention systems. Finally, additional tests have been introduced for the P/J homologation, visors, sun screens and accessories.

A modular helmet can be homologated as P (PROTECTIVE: helmet with protective chin guard) or as P/J (helmet with protective chin guard which can be used in closed or open position indifferently). The double homologation P/J allows, therefore, to ride with the modular helmet in configuration closed or open, in this last case, it is necessary to block the chin guard in open position through the special button. However, for more protection, it is suggested to always ride with closed chin guard.

The SOS RELEASE SYSTEM allows to quickly remove the cheek pads, in an emergency, while the helmet is worn. By pulling the emergency red strips, the pressure buttons will release and the cheek pads extraction from the lower part of the helmet will be possible. This system must be used only in case of emergency.

The retention system with micrometric buckle or metal micrometric buckle, for the chin strap closing, consists of a quick release device with a pulling flap and a tab with click which allow a quick and easy adjustment together with a practical release. The micrometric buckle is studied to obtain, with the same device, a quick and safe system of opening/closing and a handy and intuitive adjustment system.

The shell is made of Carbon which allows excellent resistance to impact force combined with greater lightness. The Carbon shell are not affected by sudden changes in temperature and have a better resistance to UV rays, abrasion and compression.

The shell is realised in composite fibers amalgamate and made solid thanks to the use of thermoherdener resins in vinylester with epoxy base. The use of composte fibers allows a good resistence to the shock strenght joined to a higher lightness, moreover, the shells in fiber are not influenced by the temperature changes and have a better resistence to UV rays.

The shell is printed by injection, the thermoplastic polymers, once cold and hardened after the printing process, grant a high mechanic resistance for the maximum protection from impacts, in a wide range of temperatures, and a high capacity to dissipate the energy deriving from an impact. Moreover, the printed shell keeps its original structure, without deformations or instability for many years.

To realize models in different sizes of external shell allows to give a fit and a very good comfort fitting for all the sizes. The shell of reduced dimensions is useful to cover the smaller sizes, on the contrary the shell of bigger dimensions allows to cover the bigger sizes. A shell specially realized for some sizes allows to avoid an excessive encumbrance when the helmet is worn on.

Each helmet of ours is carefully treated to obtain the desired finishing. The shell, after having been smoothed, is painted with various layers of colour and then coated with the antiscratch transparent painting. Or, in the case of decals, it is first covered by the special water decal with the desired design, and then coated with the antiscratch transparent painting.

The AIR STREAM SYSTEM is composed by front air vents , air ducts in the inner shell and rear air vents. The fresh air enters in the front air vents of the helmet and, passing through the proper ducting in the inner shell, it arrives to the rider. The air circle is generated exploiting the movement which generates a negative pressure and push the internal hot air towards the rear side of the helmet from where it comes out through the rear air vents. In this way the rider benefits of a costant air recycle inside the helmet which always grants a pleasant temperature.

The front air system allows the fresh air inlet through the front air vents that, passing through the proper ducting in the inner shell, arrives to the rider, helping to keep fresh and oxygenated the inside of the helmet.

The rear air system allows the circulation of the air inside the helmet. Exploiting the movement, the hot internal air is pushed towards the rear side of the helmet from where it comes out through the rear air vents. In this way the driver benefits of a constant air recycle which always grants a pleasant temperature.

Shaped visor in glasses form which usually covers the eyes. Treated to resist to surface scratches.

The long and shaped visors are interchangeable with each other and share the same fixing system.

The visor includes specific pins for inserting the lens FogCity® GO, included in the packaging. Thanks to the added flexible seal this lens offers maximum anti-fog performance in virtually all conditions.

The visor includes specific pins for inserting the Lens Pinlock® 70 Max Vision against the fogging of the visor, included in the packaging. The technology Max Vision provides a clear vision throughout the whole visor view. A perfect fit for everyday commuting. Maximum field of view. The lens is fully integrated into the visor. No false light dispersion.

The visor includes specific pins for inserting the Lens Pinlock® against the fogging of the visor which could happen due to the breath and to the difference of inner temperature and external temperature of the helmet. Pinlock® has developed for CGM and SKA-P a unique Lens Pinlock® 70 (DKS002), available in different colorings for different kind of weather conditions, for the visors of all CGM and SKA-P models with predisposition.

Tilting visor fixing system push the visor when closed on the gasket granting an optimal adherence.

Quick release visor, easily and fast to remove without the use of tools.

The visor is equipped with a specific lock mechanism which allows to firmly lock it in position when closed.

The darken hidden inner visor acts as a sunscreen handy and easy to use. It is enough to lift it down to use it or to lift it up to exclude it from the visual field and go back to a traditional visual.

Compact sun peak easily removable thanks to the fasteners.

The removable inner lining are fixed to the inner shell with fasteners, mechanisms in hard plastic or velcro, they can be washed with mild soap.

The EXTRACOOL linings are realized with a new fabric with an innovative design, it is breathable and antibacterial and extremely soft on skin.

The prestige inner lining is made with a thermoformed top with a hexagonal shape for superior fit comfort.

The neck collar fixed to the inner shell with fasteners, zips and velcro, can be washed with mild soap.

Chin protector easily removable. It is needed to protect the neck skin to avoid the contact with the chin strap.

The chin deflector is a protection in fabric put just below the chin which prevents the air inlet inside the helmet increasing silence and stability.

It’s a fabric protection placed along the perimeter of the neck, which prevents the air getting into the helmet by increasing the quietness and stability.

The internal padding is made with a special housing for the temples of the glasses, this system is designed to offer optimal comfort to those who wear glasses.

The nose deflector, easy removable, is useful to direct the hot air breathed downwards to avoid the visor mist.

The rear goggle loop is useful to fasten the goggles strap to the helmet in practical and safe way.

It indicates that the helmet is ready to lodge intercoms and aftermarket Bluetooth devices without the need of tools and without compromising the safety of the product.

The anti-theft loop ring at the chin strap is a useful metallic ring to fasten the helmet to the hook under the seat of the scooter in practical and safe way.

Elasticated fabric loop that allows you to lock the excess strap in the folded position.

The helmet is equipped with a rear spoiler for the city driving, which is easily replaceable with the extended surface spoiler, included in the packaging, to improve the stability during the high speed.

The jet conversion kit included in the package allows you to easily change the configuration of the helmet, passing from the combination of peak and visor for all terrain use, to the integral mode without peak.
